One of the principal activities of AVM is conducting Vijnana Mandir classes, with the objective of imparting the knowledge of the self which is the only solution to all the sorrow and the nagging sense of inadequacy that one experiences in life.

Swamiji conducts classes on Vedanta which is comprised of the Upanishads, the Brahmasutras, the Bhagavad Gita and other allied texts. The classes are held on a regular basis in the  ashram, as well as in different locations around the city. These classes are conducted both in English as well as in Gujarati. One by one each Vedantic text is taken up and unfolded methodically in al ofl its details. Vijnana Mandir classes offers an excellent means for learning Vedanta.
