Swami Viditatmananda

 

Swami Viditatmanada Saraswati who was an engineer by academic qualification and profession, renounced the material world by taking sannyasa at the age of 44.  He studied the Vedic scriptures and Sanskrit with his guru, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, and is a well known and highly respected  teacher of Vedanta in both India and around the world..

Swami Viditatmananda is familiar with the lifestyles in India and the West, and has tremendous insight into both cultures.  Swamiji spends most of his time teaching at Tattvatirtha Ashram in Ahmedabad as well as spending 3-4 months teaching at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Pennsylvania, U.S.A., which is the ashram founded by Swami Dayananda Saraswati.Swami Viditatmananda is also the vice-President of that Institute.

 

An erudite scholar, Swamiji has dedicated his life to the spread of the ancient Vedic teachings pertaining to the knowledge of the Self.  He is an ideal guru, who imparts the core wisdom of the scriptures and explains each point in detail until he is sure that each person in front of him has understood. The depth of Swamiji’s wisdom, compassion, and kindness brings great joy to his disciples and to all who come in contact with him.
